Cops were puzzled to find a dead woman in the car after the driver and passenger fled when they saw the police patrol.
But they soon got answers when they finally bust the two suspects on Thursday.
The men confessed they killed the allegedly pregnant woman after being promised R3 million for a fresh br#ast.
A source told Daily Sun: “The two suspects claimed they were promised the money if they could supply a woman’s fresh bre-ast.”
Police spokesman Captain Zweli Mohobeleli said the shocking incident happened last Sunday.
He said police were patrolling in Fouriesburg when they saw a recklessly driven car coming towards them on the way to Mashaeng kasi.
“Police tried to stop the car, but realising his sins were about to catch up with him, the driver decided to stop and the suspects jumped out and ran away.“One was arrested near Paul Roux on Wednesday, while his friend was bust in Virginia on Thursday.
“The victim was a 31-year-old woman from Lesotho, who had been living in Welkom,” Mohobeleli said.
But he could not confirm the pregnancy and R3 million claim and said post mortem results would reveal the cause of death.
“Police are still busy with investigations.
“The owner of the Mazda 323 from Welkom had gone to police to report it stolen, but was arrested when it was discovered he was related to one of the suspects.
“Police charged him with opening a false theft docket, but after failing to link him to the murder he was released.
“The suspects, who are both facing murder charges, are expected to appear in Fouriesburg Magistrates Court today,” said Mohobeleli.
