Unathi To Perform Her Latest Album This Weekend
She is billed to perform at the Shisanyama Festival at Eyadini Lounge in Umlazi, south of Durban, on Saturday.
Singer Unathi Msengana will give an exclusive performance of her upcoming fifth album at the weekend.
Unathi has been adding the final touches to the untitled album.
Unathi will perform alongside DJs Shimza, Cleo, Naves and Sphectacula, as well as Big Nuz and Distruction Boyz.
Unathi said she’s excited to be part of the festival and her fans will get a taste of what her album will offer.
She said: “My album will be released in three weeks. People should come to my performance so they can have fun and listen to my new project.
“On my new album I worked with musicians such as Mondli Ngcobo and I’m certain my fans will love Isdima, a song I recorded with Proverb.”
Speaking about the festival, organiser Mitchell Lewis said: “We will bring the best acts in the musical business together for the event.
“We’ve also invited street vendors to help us make the festival a success.”
Tickets range from R120 to R300 at Computicket.
Doors open at 12pm.
