A commission of inquiry into political killings in KwaZulu-Natal’s Glebelands hostel will resume on Monday after a month-long break.
The provincial government established the commission following a recommendationby former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.
It’s investigating politically-motivated murders dating back to 2011.
Almost 90 people have been killed in KZN since March 2014, but no arrests have been made.
Police Minister Fikile Mbalula said 33 people have been killed this year alone in suspected politically-motivated incidents.
