CAST OF GENERATIONS THE LEGACY DANCING: #GenerationsInDinokeng tour#PRETORIA
The cast of the Mzansi’s popular soapie, Generations: The Legacyhad a nice time in DINOKENG, north of Pretoria,where they were promoting tourism in Gauteng.
The #GenerationsInDinokeng tour was organized by the GAUTENG TOURISM AUTHORITY.Cast members who were part of the tour included Rapulana Seiphemo, Manaka Ranaka, Musa Ngema and Moopi Mothibeli.
Moopi, who plays the character of Smanga said “this was an eye-opening experience, there’s so much to see in Gauteng. You really don’t have to go far.”
Manaka, who plays Lucy on the soapie said she’s definitely bringing her family back to Dinokeng for a family trip.
Speaking to the Sun Team, the General Manager for Marketing at the GTA, Barba Gaoganediwe said “the aim of the tour was to showcase short trips and low cost vacation to the people of Mzansi, by having influential people like the Generations actors to assist in creating awareness about domestic tourism.”
“As the people of Mzansi, we should start having a culture of touring in our own country” he added.The fun-filled tour covered Dinokeng’s three major tourist hubs:
– Cullinan, where the world’s largest rough gem-quality diamond was discovered in 1905.
– The Roodeplaat Dam, a birders’ paradise.
– The Dinokeng Game Reserve, Gauteng’s only free-roaming Big Five reserve.
