Zambia Elections: Huge voter turnout in Kabwe cause confusion. Confusion arising from the huge turnout of voters marred the voting process at Buseko Primary School in Kabwe’s Bwacha Constituency.
Hundreds of voters turned out which overwhelmed the lone police officer as some voters started jumping the queue.
A voter Memory Mpundu expressed fear that some voters may ran out of patience and abandon the exercise.
She says she was expecting a smooth process. However over 400 people had cast their vote by 09:30hrs. Huge voter turnout was witnessed in many polling stations in Kabwe.
