Nomvete has been announced as one of the headliners of Mzansi Magic prison drama Lockdown Season 2.

Ethiopian born actress Pamela Novemete famous for her role on Generation as the villainous Ntsiki Lukhele is making a return to her acting career.

She will play Governor Deborah Banda, described as a woman who holds a dark secret that only the walls of prison can handle.

Joining the cast alongside Nomvete will be the infamous Linda Sebezo (who is popularly known to Mzansi Magic viewers as Sharon D). Sebezo will be playing the role of “the most dangerous inmate in South Africa, Maki Magwaza.”

The TV series returns for season 2 on Monday, 09 October.
