Usain Bolt Losses First Time Since 2013 At London World Championships
The Jamaican sprinter, who only turns 31 at the end of the August, holds the world record times in the 100 and 200 metres and is widely regarded as one of, if not the best sprinter of all-time.
Usain Bolt is bringing an end to his decorated career and he’s doing it at the World Championships in London.
Furthermore, Bolt is the only sprinter to win Olympic 100m and 200m titles at three consecutive Olympics (2008, 2012 and 2016), a feat referred to as the ‘triple double’.
He’s looking to go out in style in London and won his heat in the 100m before running his semi-final race on Saturday evening.
However, things did not go according to plan for the superstar as American Christian Coleman won the semi-final.
