SECOND VIDEO OF KFC ASSAULT LEAKED AGAIN

In the 1:26 minute video, a woman who is apparently one of the complainants, is heard saying: “It is not supposed to be like this.”  The woman seems upset as she stands before a car, with her hands beside her waist.

A second video of a group of men who assaulted and threatened a couple at a KFC in Pretoria has emerged.

One of the accused can be heard asking: “So who started this”?

A man wearing a red jacket, who is apparently the second complainant in the matter, points at one of the accused and says: “You started this. You started this.”

A second unknown woman also joins the argument, says to the accused:

“You started this, f*k you m*f. Jy moet fokken hou op [You must f***n stop].”

The female complainant then interrupts her and is heard saying: “Listen, listen, listen,” as she pleads with the accused. One of the accused walks to the woman and tells her: “Leave it now, get in your car and let’s go.”

The male complainant is seen walking towards the man and asks him: “Where the f**k were you when they were beating my wife?”

The video ends with one of the accused getting into his car and being approached by an unknown man who says: “Eh bra sorry ne, we don’t know what is going on here.”

According to Ruan Hollamby from Jay Inc Attorneys, there are only five accused in the matter, and not six as earlier reported.

He also denied that the men knew each other.  It was earlier reported that the accused were charged with assault.

However, Hollamby said they were told by the control prosecutor that the charges had been amended to attempted murder.

He said his client would plead not guilty.

“We cannot divulge any further detail into the matter, as the incident is still under investigation,” Hollamby told News24.

The men are expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

In the first video that went viral on social media over the weekend, a number of men are seen assaulting people at what appears to be the drive-through of a KFC in Montana, north of Pretoria.

A woman can be heard shouting: “Are you going to hit me? Are you going to hit me?”

The men, who are white, can be heard shouting, “p*s” and “f*k off”.

Later, the woman, who is black, can be heard shouting, “don’t hit my man”.

Four of the men, Stephan Nel, 39, Marius Harding, 23, DJ van Rooyen, 21, and Ockert Muller, 20, were arrested at around 06:00 on Thursday morning.

They appeared in the Pretoria  Magistrate’s Court on Friday.

Muller was granted bail while his co-accused were remanded in custody.

Joshua Scholtz, 21, accompanied by his lawyer, handed himself over to at the Sinoville police station on Monday morning.
