Bafana said: “I decided to take her up on her offer. Four months later she fell pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl.”
He said it was hard for his wife to accept that he had impregnated another woman, but she forgave him.
Then, he said, the mother of his child tried to get his wife to leave him.
Bafana said when he went to visit his child on 6 November he was told they had left the day before.save
“I found my daughter with her gogo and took her with me to my house,” he said.
He said that evening cops, the mother of the child and her two friends came to his house.
“The police told me I had kidnapped a child and told her to fetch the baby.”
He said the mother of his child and her friends beat up his wife inside the house while the police beat him outside.
“There were two officers. One held my hands and the other beat me up.”
Both Bafana and his wife opened cases. His wife’s case has been in court twice while his has never been heard.
