NURSE BUSTED AND JAILED FOR ALLEGEDLY SELLING ARV

A Limpopo nurse has been jailed for stealing and selling antiretroviral (ARV) tablets.
The Morebeng Regional Court found Mokgadi Ramusi (45) guilty of contravening the Medicine and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965.
According to Limpopo Hawks spokesperson, Captain Matimba Maluleke, Hawks made the arrest after receiving a tip-off that a woman was selling ARVs in the city centre of Polokwane.
In an undercover operation, Ramusi tried to sell the sealed bottles containing ARV’s to a cop for R7500.
An investigation revealed that she stole the ARV tablets from Botlokwa Clinic where she was based.
