MZANSI MAGIC’s DOCU-REALITY SHOW UTATAKHO BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND

Presenter Nimrod Nkosi told Sunday Sun: “The return of Utatakho is significant because the show is an important platform for people who are desperate for help.

Mzansi’s docu-reality show Utatakho is coming back to the small screen. The series will be back in October. “So, it’s fulfilling to see it come back for another season.

“I feel honoured by and grateful to Mzansi Magic and Connect TV for having me back after seeing the amount of effort I put into my work.”

In 2015, Nimrod replaced Bonginkosi “Zola” Dlamini as the show’s host. The show has been off air for the past six months.

Nimrod reckons viewers must have been frustrated during the show’s break.

“I know because it played a pivotal role in educating people about the complex and intricate process of DNA testing.

“People who have come to support and love the show always ask me when it’s coming back. It has become such a fixture in their TV-viewing schedule.

“I truly enjoy being the host of this show and wear my heart on my sleeve when hosting it.

“I can never get used to the sadness and grief we witness every time we talk to a family. I’m glad the show still has a psychologist to help families before and after the delivery of the DNA results,” said Nimrod.

The former Jam Alley host said he had never thought of quitting the show and felt he was employing his God-given talent to help communities.

Mzansi Magic publicist, Nondumiso Mabece, said Utatakho was coming back on our screens in October and Nimrod was still the presenter of the series.
