Moozlie has collaborated with Steve Madden footwear label for its debut project in its new music program.
Although Moozlie has been in the game for a minute, she has yet to release a full body of work but that is all about to change as she collaborates with major international footwear brand, Steve Madden for the debut project in its new music program.
Over the past few years, Moozlie has been laying the foundation to building her brand, and now at 25 years of age, she is definitely coming into her own.
Steve Madden launched their music program, Steve Madden Music in South Africa in late 2016. According to Moozlie’s camp, “the global initiative dedicates itself to scouting, highlighting and supporting artists who unapologetically resonate within a unique sound.”
As a result, they have announced a new collaboration titled Moozlie Versus X Steve Madden Music ahead of the launch of her debut mixtape (titled Versus) tomorrow, Friday, 13 October.
“The first Steve Madden Music collaboration in South Africa is the purposeful choice of an artist who not only displays a versatile mix of musical talent but carries the fierce and fancy Steve Madden persona. Upon hearing of Moozlie’s interest in recording a mixtape, the potential to support and elevate her sound seemed undeniable. The co-creation of ‘Versus’ is spearheaded by Moozlie’s creative process and supported further by Steve Madden,” said Steve Madden SA Marketing Manager, Sarah Vance in a statement.
Thus far, Moozlie has featured on hits such as DJ Speedsta’s “Don’t Panic,” Rouge’s “Mbongo/Zaka” and AKA’s all female “Baddest” remix as well as hits of her own in the form of “The Recipe” (produced by Wichi 1080) and “Ride or Die” featuring Yung Swiss.
Her style has also always been a topic of conversation as there is truly no one like Moozlie in the game right now.
