Mo Flava is leaving Club 808 AFTER four years as presenter of the show with Nonhle Thema.
The last Friday of this month will be the last time viewers will be seeing Mo Flava and Nonhle Thema presenting the show together.
Viewers will also have to wait a while to find out who will be joining Nonhle as co-host.
Mo Flava told Sunday Sun he’s grateful to all the viewers for their support over the years and that the years have been great.
“It’s been a great four years with Club 808 and I’ve learnt many things from the experience.
“Red Pepper Productions and e.tv are brilliant teams. But it was time for me to move on. I don’t believe in holding onto something for too long.
“It ’s important to know when it’s time to move on,” said Mo Flava.
After his last show, his fans can still catch him on his show on YFM and also enjoy his music from a newly released album that was part of the Soul Candi Sessions.
“I’ll also be releasing more music with up-and-coming producers and singers,” he said.
Monde Twala, MD of e.tv channels division, said in a statement: “e.tv wishes Mo Flava all the best for the future and will always be thankful for his contribution to making Club 808 the great show that it is today. Mo is extremely talented and we’ll always look for an opportunity to include him in future productions.”
