Mayambela completes a move to Swedish club


The younger brother of dribbling-wizard Mark Mayambela, Mihlali, has joined Swedish club Djurgardens on a three-year deal,

Mayambela’s agent, Michael Makaab Jnr, told KickOff on Wednesday that the young midfielder has put pen to paper on a “straight three-year option.”

“Mihlali is extremely excited and can’t wait to get his career in Europe underway. He has the ability to go very far and to really make a name for himself,” said Makaab Jnr.

According to the report, Mayambela will leave his First Division club Cape Town All Stars in the next few weeks.

He impressed during a trial stint towards the end of last year.
