Earlier this week, both Chico & his son Longwe were interviewed about their involvement in the case and they both denied any wrongdoing. Longwe was asked by the Drive team how he felt about being accused of Senzo’s murder and he replied by saying that he is deeply saddened by the accusations.

After the case went cold a couple of years ago, there is renewed interest in the events that led up to Senzo Meyiwa’s murder.

According to a Sunday Sun article, Chicco Twala has urged the Police Minister to arrest everyone who was in the house when Senzo was brutally killed, “I just want to clear my name so that is is not mentioned in the same sentence with the murder of Senzo when people have nothing to talk about,” he said.
