WHEN the 27-year-old woman met a SAPS member who proposed marriage to her, she thought her dream had come true.
She told Daily Sun when they met in 2010 he said he was about to get divorced from his wife.
The young woman from Limpopo followed the 48-year-old man to Joburg, but then her dream turned into a nightmare.
The cop who was working at the Sebokeng Police Station in the Vaal also infected her with the deadly HIV virus!
The devastated woman only found out about his HIV status when she discovered ARVs in the house, but he denied that the medication belonged to him.
The woman told Daily Sun that she convinced the man to go for HIV testing with her – and they both tested positive.
“He told me to go back to my family and spread the disease there,” she said.
She got a protection order against her boyfriend to stop him from throwing her out, but then she discovered he also had a protection order against her.
The cop, along with other policemen, physically forced her out of the house.
“He must pay damages because he didn’t tell me he was HIV-positive,” she said.
Lieutenant Letsie of Moroka Police Station said the woman must open a case of harassment against the cop.
The cop refused to comment when contacted by Daily Sun.
Daily Sun has established that he has two kids with another woman in Soweto who has taken him to court for maintenance.
