The 19-track album will be ready later this month.
“It will be produced independently before I collaborate with any major record company,” he explained.
Although he hasn’t released an album in the past five years, the self-proclaimed king of dancehall said he has been releasing singles as often as possible. His recent single Turn-Up has been doing well in the music charts both on TV and radio across Africa.
Buffalo Souljah is also promoting Sexy Panty on which he collaborated with Zambian maestro DJ Cosmo.
“Keeping yourself relevant in the music industry is not easy but I have realised that producing music regularly helps,” he said.
The Zimbabwean singer said although it is has been hard to get bookings in South Africa, he has received a lot of support from other Africa countries like Zambia, Angola and in his home country.
The five-time Channel O Music Video Award winner said he gets excited every time he’s on stage.
“On Thursday, I’ll be performing at DJ Vetkuk’s birthday party at Club Kong in Rosebank with Dr Malinga, Heavy K, Shimza, DJPepsi, AB Crazy, Shluda, Bobstar, Zonke, Udu, Tony and a few surprises,” he said.
Buffalo Souljah said he’ll be playing some of his new music to make sure that his fans get a taste of what is to come.
