THE rape case against kwaito singer Brickz has been postponed pending a victim assessment report.
Wearing a black jacket and white shirt, Sipho “Brickz” Ndlovu briefly appeared yesterday in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court.
The hitmaker of songs such as Sweety Ma Baby and Tjovitjowas bust on 1 November in connection with the alleged rape of his niece (17) in March last year.
The state asked for a postponement while it waits for an assessment report from the Teddy Bear Clinic in Joburg, where the girl was taken for a check-up. Brickz is out on bail of R50 000.
According to his bail conditions, he is forbidden to interfere with state witnesses.
