Churches and hospitals couldn’t help.
BUT NOW HE’S WALKING AND TALKING AGAIN – THANKS TO PRAYER AND HELP FROM SUNPOWER.
On 25 November, the People’s Paper reported on the mystery problem that hit the once lively youngster who loved to run around with his friends.
At that stage, he had been unable to walk or talk for eight months. He just slept all the time. Lehlohonolo’s worried family of Spruitview in Ekurhuleni, east of Joburg, took him to churches and hospitals.
But nobody could help or say what was wrong with him.
Family members began to think they were cursed. His dad, Mpho Mbhele, said it was painful to see his son struggle with simple
daily tasks like going to the toilet.
“We spent a lot of money, but nothing worked,” he said.
Then a SunReader sent in a letter calling on Pastor Daniel Mogotlane of Hope of Glory Church to help Lehlohonolo.
Last week, Pastor Daniel prayed for the boy. And Lehlohonolo began to walk and talk!
The prayers are still going on.
Pastor Daniel said believing in the word of God helped him to deal with the youngster’s case.
“I am glad God used us as a great channel to help those who need help. I believe God is still at work,” he said.
When the SunTeam visited the pastor’s house in Rosslyn, Pretoria, Lehlohonolo showed God’s healing power in action. He walked and even managed to count from one to five – something he hadn’t done in eight months.
His mum Makie Moloi was delighted to see her child walking again.
“I am very happy for the help we received,” she said. “It was difficult for us, but we didn’t lose hope.”
Mbhele expressed his heartfelt gratitude.
The relieved father said progress was slow, but it was good to see their child getting better.
“Please continue helping others just as you have for us,” he said. “We are truly thankful.”
Now Lehlohonolo’s family is hoping he will be running around and playing with his friends again soon.
