“Satan is hurting my little brother and my brother has to get help,” she said.
The troubled teenager joined a Satanic cult a week ago after being recruited by a schoolmate.
His sister, who can’t be named to protect both their identities, lives in Tembisa, Ekurhuleni and her brother attends school in Mamelodi, Tshwane.
The boy has a triangle and the letters R and N carved on his forearm.
“I first saw these markings last week. I got very worried,” said the sister.
The boy said a classmate forced him to join the cult, saying Satanism was a special religion.
His sister said she would be happy if church leaders could pray for her brother.
Pastor Daniel Mogotlane of the Hope for Glory Ministries International in Tshwane said he’ll pray for the boy.
“Schools are an easy target for those who promote Satanism. It’s easy for the ring leaders to convince youngsters to join the cult.
“We need to deal with this issue at a higher level,” said Mogotlane.
