Following the devastating storms that left many people stranded in KwaZulu-Natal last week, award-winning, Afro-Soul singer and songwriter Berita has partnered with the Almal Foundation to help raise funds, non-perishable goods, warm clothes and hygiene products for the victims affected by the #KZNStorms.
Berita will headline the benefit concert and will be joined by the country’s finest DJs and live performers which include the likes of Kwesta, Tresor, Mobi Dixon and Brenda Mtambo with a special appearance by the legendary Princess of Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka.“I was really saddened by the KZN storms that happened last week.
The concert will take place today at the Newtown Junction Mall in Johannesburg from 12pm till 6pm and is free to enter.
My thoughts are with families and students writing Matric that are the most affected at this time. My hopes are that through this Benefit Concert as a community we may come together in music and pledge what we have to support one another,” shares Berita.
