AAG Vice President Passion Java: I’m not a ZANU PF member
AAG VP Passion Java: I’m not a ZANU PF member. Java whose late mother Senator Christine Rambanepasi-Java was a member of opposition MDC made the remarks while speaking to Phathisani Sibanda and Tinashe Chikuse on PowerFM’s breakfast show.
United States-based Zimbabwean socialite and preacher, Passion Java real name Panganayi Java has said he is not a member of the ruling ZANU PF.
The self-styled prophet has been dining with and “campaigning” for ZANU PF and its officials including President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Java, however, openly said that he was not a member of ZANU PF and he does not support any political party adding that the only party he supports is his wife and not political parties.
He also claimed that he likes President Emmerson Mnangagwa and respects the work that the president is doing for the nation.
Java commended the infrastructure development projects undertaken by the new dispensation and emphasised that he only supported the President’s vision and development programs, not the party.
Java further stated that he asked Koffi Olomide to mention “Mnangagwa Number 1” on Roki’s Patati Patata song due to the development projects which Mnangagwa is championing.
Passion Java is the Vice President of the Philip Chiyangwa founded Affirmative Action Group which is a defacto ZANU PF entity.
At some point, Java took a jab at opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa saying “haana plan [he does not have any plan],” remarks that angered Chamisa’s supporters.
