The 33-year-old mum was burnt to death with her three boys after her lover poured petrol over their shack and set it alight.

It happened in Tikwana, near Hoopstad in the Free State on Monday.

The evil man drank poison and later died in hospital. Mapaseka died under her bed with her sons Siphamandla (5), Thato (10) and Wandile (13) in her arms.

Her uncle Phangalele Kula (52) said he was horrified when he got a call at his home in Taung, North West, to tell him what had happened.

“I believe the devil has locked the man up already. My family is really traumatised by what he has done,” said Phangalele.

Constable Kethabile Mofokeng confirmed the incident and said an inquest docket and murder cases were opened.
