The 2 brothers were sure they were in for a night of fun when they met two beautiful, fat women at a local nightclub.
But now they’re sorry they invited the women back home.
One brother was robbed of cash and many valuables, and the other had his cellphone stolen.
Ronald (36) and Jabu Mageza (31) said they suspect they were drugged.
Jabu told Daily Sun how the four of them left the Europa nightclub in Sunnyside, Tshwane in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They first went to Galitos to buy something for the women to eat before going to their flat.
“One moment we were drinking ciders and dancing to music in my brother’s bedroom and the next moment my brother and I were woken up by our friend, Rhulani Mashaba, at about 10am.
“My brother’s sound system, microwave, plasma TV, five cellphones, flat keys and R2000 in cash were missing,”
Rhulani (30) said he went to the flat to pick up his bank card and found the door unlocked.
“I saw Ronald lying in his bedroom with a small bag on top of his face. I woke him up and asked him what had happened, but he looked dizzy and confused,” Rhulani said.
Jabu was asleep on the bathroom floor. Rhulani said he was in the same dazed state as his brother and there was no sign of the beauties of the night.
The horrified brothers went to Sunnyside Police Station while Rhulani went to the bank to stop his card. The only detail they could remember was that one of the women said her name was Mavis.
“We want to warn other people not to fall into the same trap,” Jabu said.
Sergeant Asnath Malatsi confirmed that a case of theft was opened.
