LAST Wednesday Daily Sun published the story of 26-year-old Dineo Mmekwa from Sunnyside in Tshwane who was looking for a soulmate – after her heart had been broken three times.
Over 160 men have contacted the People’s Paper in a bid to become her soulmate.
One 50-year-old man said he was single and would treat Dineo like a queen and build her a mansion in Limpopo if she agreed to marry him.
Dineo’s first boyfriend disappeared in 2005 when she fell pregnant, leaving her to raise their child with the help of her parents.
Her second boyfriend was a “player and thief” who even sold her clothes when one of his other girlfriends wanted to know what they were doing in his room.
He told the woman he was selling women’s clothing.
And her third boyfriend got engaged last year to an older woman while Dineo was still dating him.
“All I need is a man who will love only me, a man who is honest, a churchgoer and independent,” she told Daily Sun at the time.
One of the men who contacted us wrote on Mobi: “I’m sending this message regarding the matter of
Dineo, who is looking for her soulmate. I’d like to make her my wife. I’ve been hurt a lot and I think we deserve the best in life”.
A guy from Mpumalanga said he had just got divorced from a troublesome woman and wanted to marry Dineo because she seemed like an honest person.
Dineo said: “I didn’t expect such a huge response. Maybe I will finally find a man who is meant for me.
“But I will only call those who are 30– 35-years old.”
